Over 13 years ago, God brought us together, answering the prayers we had both lifted up to Him after experiencing the pain of our long-standing marriages ending in divorce. Our love story began with long-distance dating, and after just eight months, we joyfully committed to marriage, believing we had found our forever partner.
But marriage isn’t just about love—it requires understanding, growth, and God’s guidance. Three and a half years later, we found ourselves separated, and a year after that, divorced. For three difficult years, we lived apart, navigating the pain, doubts, and emotional wounds that followed.

1: Why a cruise? Isn't a hotel conference easier?
A cruise is one of the few places where a pastor can be truly "off the clock." Once we are at sea, the distractions of the office, the ringing of the church phone, and the "urgent" emails fade away. It forces a rhythm of rest that a land-based hotel simply cannot provide. Plus, all your meals, lodging, and world-class travel are included in one price.
2: Who is this for? Can I bring my kids?
To maintain the focus on pastoral restoration and marriage strengthening, this is a "Leaders and Spouses Only" event. We love families, but this 6-day window is designed specifically for you to reconnect with your spouse and your peers without the demands of parenting or ministry to children.
3: What will the "Conference" days look like?
We have specifically designated our two days at sea as our conference days.
Mornings: High-impact, intimate sessions focused on soul-care, burnout prevention, and ministry longevity.
Afternoons: Intentional "Couples Time" or moderated "Peer Circles" where you can talk shop with others who understand your specific challenges.
Port Days: Pure recreation. No sessions. Explore Cabo and Ensenada at your own pace!
4: How can I justify the time away from my church in March?
March is often a high-intensity season (leading up to or following Easter/Lent). This is exactly why it is the best time to go. Stepping away for 6 days allows you to return with a "full tank" for the spring season. We provide a "Letter to the Board" that explains the professional development and health benefits of this trip to help your leadership team see this as a vital investment rather than just a vacation.
5: What if I can’t afford it right now?
We offer a structured payment plan to break the cost into manageable installments. Additionally, many churches have "Professional Development" or "Pastor Appreciation" funds that can be used for this conference. Since it includes specific training sessions, it often qualifies as a tax-deductible ministry expense (consult your tax professional).
6. Is this just for Lead Pastors?
No. This is for all ministry leaders—including Associate Pastors, Youth Pastors, and Worship Directors. If you are in full-time or significant bi-vocational ministry leadership, you are welcome at this table.
