That's exactly who we built this retreat for. Half the couples on the ship will be in the middle of real rebuilding—infidelity, broken trust, deep distance, addiction, recovery, and separation seasons. You won't be alone, and you won't be exposed. The format protects your privacy while still creating real, focused work for your marriage. We've been in your seat. We know what you need — and what you don't need.

This is a closed-loop sailing—we leave from San Diego and return to San Diego—so technically a passport card or a state-issued enhanced ID can work. We strongly recommend a full passport book regardless. If anything happens during the cruise that requires you to fly home from Mexico, only the passport book gets you on a plane back to the U.S. Better to spend the $130 now than be stuck. After you book, we'll send you a full prep checklist.

Royal Caribbean's refund window applies to the cruise fare itself — they have specific cutoff dates that your travel agent at Sea Conferences will walk you through. The retreat-portion deposit is non-refundable, but it IS transferable to next year's retreat if life changes. Full written policy goes in your booking confirmation. If you're unsure about any of this, call or text us before you deposit—we'll walk it through with you. (619-853-4393).

Neither. We're not running a 7-day sermon series, and we're not running a party. Focused teaching sessions across 7 days, daily worship in the morning, optional shore activities at the ports, and intentional space for couples to be alone together. The pace is restorative, not exhausting. You'll leave the ship rested AND with real marriage work done.

Our payment schedule is built to make this manageable: deposit by June 15, half the remaining balance by July 15, and paid in full by August 1. If something happens that makes any of those dates difficult, reach out before the deadline — don't disappear on us. We'll work through options together. We can't extend past August 1 because that's the cruise line's hard cutoff, but we have flexibility within the window.

Yes. The couples on this ship are choosing restoration — many in real, current rebuilding seasons. You'll find a community that gets it without forcing you to share more than you're ready to. It's a safe space for couples.

Cruise gratuities (typically $16–20 per person per day, payable to Royal Caribbean — can be prepaid). Alcohol, specialty restaurants, and onboard purchases are extra. Shore excursions in Ensenada, Cabo, and Mazatlán are at your discretion — Sea Conferences can help you pre-book if you want. Travel insurance is highly recommended (link in the booking page). Transportation to and from San Diego if you're not local. Everything ELSE — meals, retreat sessions, a workbook, and post-cruise coaching — is included.

Most couples fly into San Diego International Airport (SAN), which is about 15 minutes from the cruise terminal. We can arrange transportation from the airport to the ship for an additional fee — let us know when you book and we'll coordinate. We recommend flying in the day before (October 31) so you're rested and ready for embarkation morning. We can also recommend a couple of hotels close to the port.
