Frequently Ask Questions
Is this for marriages that are already good, or only for marriages in crisis?
Both. Some couples come to Stop the Cycle in crisis. Others come because things are "fine" and they know fine isn't the same as whole. Either way, the same fight keeps showing up; you just call it different things at different volumes. This session is for any couple ready to name the pattern and break it, wherever you're starting from.
My spouse won't come. Can I attend alone?
Yes. We'd rather have one spouse fully present than two spouses half-in. What you learn Wednesday, you can bring home and start applying that same night, and often, one person leading with a new pattern is what opens the door for the other.
We're not fighting constantly, just distant. Does this still apply to us?
Distance is a pattern too. It's just the quiet version of the same fight—withdrawal instead of conflict. Same cycle, different mask. This session names both.
We've done counseling before, and it didn't work. How is this different?
